The embedded piscine focuses on embedded programming. You won't be handling electronic hardware—for now. In this piscine, you will learn the basics of bare-metal programming and how to read datasheets. It will give you the skills to code your own embedded projects and offer a glimpse into how electronic devices actually work. It’s going to give you a ton of brilliant ideas! But careful, don't stall for too long before getting started—time flies!

How is it organized ?

The piscine lasts 2 weeks, just like the C piscine. The difference is that you'll be working on a custom electronic board made by us. You have to code in C, but on the bright side, there is no Norme 😮‍💨. Trust us, it’s plenty hard enough as it is. That doesn't mean you should turn in sloppy code, though 😉.

A board will be assigned to you at the start of the piscine, and you must return it at the end—otherwise, expect disciplinary action. We know they look cool and make a nice souvenir, but please think of the next students who want to tackle the piscine 🙏.
